  1. Lots of shared interests and strong leadership are some of the best qualities. To a newcomer first check the #faq, [insert additional infographics about how, what, when, etc] inform them that 99% DMs are scams etc.
  2. ILLUVIUM cofounders are 3 brothers who all excelled in their spaces : art and animation; gaming; and crypto blockchain. They are pretty fuckin cool dudes, and HIGHLY TRANSPARENT. The community , frok Admins to mods to fans/users, investors reflects the core teams openness and camaraderie. I suggest plugging into our ShinyShards Sparkles Guild to see for yourself @shinyshards
  3. the game alone is superb, it's a triple AAA RPG, apart from its nice features, graphics, story of the game and etc you can earn money from playing it. New comers might find it worth it to invest in, for the game well planned, has a lot of burning mechs and is more fun to play for it is an open world where you get to collect illuvials.
  4. what i like most about the community is how welcoming and supportive it is, especially to new comers that want to learn but arent sure where to start, I would say to a newcomer just join the discord, dont be afraid to ask questions (there are no stupid questions) and get involved, you will benefit from it as will the community and you will get the vibe that is the Illuvium community
  5. Community is very helpful and genuine. Theres no need to grind in illuvium unlike other communities, so when people interact with you theyre genuinely just trying to help. Plus, the team is very transparent. First thing we tend to say to newcomers is to be wary of scams. Read up on the usual links to start of and feel free to ask questions in chat if they need clarifications
  6. There is so much stuff to cover, that if there is really anyone interested i'd be open/viable to put up a review/feedback sheet my experience is playing in masters in tft and spending thousands of games on it, so there might be some ideas that could improve the player experience, but a simple take is for example that it shouldn't take hours to figure out the synergies and what their strange combinations open up The way you have to aproach it now is that you play through every card to figure out the secondary combinations in hope of something that might work together, but the amount of synergies is inproportional to the amount of cards you play (ontop of the synergies being hard to grasp and hardly explained) [9:49 AM] maybe it's "too early" to judge harsh, but if your aim is to create a game that is able to compete with the ongoing tripple A versions of an autobattler, then being miles behind the competition in most aspects will give you a really hard time. why would i play illuvium for the gameplay if i can play X or Y. the main driving point shouldn't be speculation since that can blow off your game in a heartbeat (as being seen with so many other cryptogames), so my guess is that you are very much interested in creating the best gameplay to-date amongst the complete autobattler competition (edited) [9:53 AM] this being said, i'll put as much work in as it's needed to get somewhere near the top to present a review that is factual and not driven by emotions from playing the first time
