Pegaxy is a play-to-earn PVP style horse racing game where players compete for top 3 placement against 11 other racers. Each race has randomised elemental variables which include wind, water, fire, speed and more. Using strategic upgrades, food and skill, players must place in the top 3 to earn the platforms utility token, VIS (Vigorus).

Going to share some thoughts here.....
Spent 2 months building a stable because I enjoyed the breeding game. Before Drop Racing was a thing. Working on getting custom colors on pegas, stats, discovering metas. After 2 months, I had a solid strategy on how to pass colors and stats to offspring so that overtime I could make ideal pegas.
In the several couple weeks, that entire paradigm has been upended. That's fine, it's progress.
Drop Racing came out and added some additional relevance to Pegaxy. With Drop Racing, my pegas were elite metas. Earning quite a lot of chests right out of the gate. With 200+ pegas in my stable, I was doing quite well. Pulling in about 70+ chests out of the gate, per day. About 12-20 elemental chests per day.
With the new changes, I see the need to shift to higher rarity pegas. Which I have been doing, albeit slowly. However, the drop rates, even on my best pegas, has slowed dramatically.
Today, I earned 30 chests and 2 elemental chests.
It's a dramatic change....after a dramatic change.
I'm going to keep pushing. But I would encourage the team to be mindful of how dramatic these changes are you are making, on no notice. It's traumatic to the people trying to figure out your system. Just when they feel they have a grasp on it, you change things in profound ways, that makes them feel like they are starting over again and unsure if they want to grind it out again.
You need to give a runway for players to feel the satisfaction of success AFTER the grind. Not just adding a new grind immediately.
Just my thoughts.
